U.S. retail per-capita availability of limes has jumped from 2.8 pounds in 2010 to 4.4 pounds in 2022, according to the USDA. U.S. imports of all limes have grown more than 60% in 10 years. Mexico accounted for 90% of all lime's imports in 2023, with the balance supplied by Colombia, Peru, Honduras.
