#GlobalPapayaProduction is #projected to rise by 2.5% p.a., to 18 Mt in #2030. #Asia’s share of #WorldProduction is set to rise to 60% by 2030. The world’s largest producer, #India, is projected to increase its #papaya production at a rate of 3.0% p.a., thereby expanding its share of global output to 49% by 2030. #GlobalExports will predominantly be shaped by production #expansion in #Mexico, the largest global exporter of papayas, and higher #demand from the key importers, the #US and the #EuropeanUnion.
