In Mexico, mango flowering requires a period of cool temperatures, with daytime highs below 25 °C and nighttime lows under 15 °C, which are crucial for initiating flowering—especially in varieties such as Honey Gold and B74. However, elevated temperatures during late flowering stages impair pollen viability and fruit quality, leading to significant economic losses for growers due to reduced yield and lower-quality harvests.
