#FAO release data - #worldwide#production of #fruits and #vegetables in 2020 was 1,837 #millions#tons of which 9% from the #EuropeanUnion at 166 million tons (101 million corresponded to vegetables and 65 million to fruits). The total European Union production 2020 was 2.5% below 2019. In terms of major EU producers:#Spain produced 31.1 million tons in 2020(-4% over 2019) followed by #Italy (27.5MT -3%) and #France (20.6MT -3%)
