Hispanics, collectively, account for 37 million acres of farmland ownership in latest 2022 census– an increase of 4 million acres compared to the previous census.

Among the 112,379 producers, the USDA data revealed a decline in male producers but a rise in female counterparts in this segment. Furthermore, 40 % of Hispanic producers in the U.S. were beginning farmers (2022); and 58 % of these operations were under 50 acres in size.
