Indonesia – Reaching for Food-Self-sufficiency


Typical problems in agriculture such as land-use patterns, human resource training and availability, etc. of local country’s staple food production, rice, cannot meet the country’s food demands, so government has resorted to food imports. Will this be a viable agriculture policy for the country due to the risk of food import dependency?
