United States Department of Agriculture have started and funding an ambitious approach shared in the ‘Food System Transformation Framework’ to achieve a more fair, competitive and resilient food system”. A framework to transform the food system to benefit consumers, producers and rural communities by providing more options, increasing access, and creating new, more, and better markets for small and mid-size producers could be the beginning of a roadmap for others across the globe to increase food supply and good nutrition for healthy communities.
