U.S. Organic Imports reached $5.7 billion in 2024, driven by rising demand for premium products like fresh organic blueberries and the need to fill seasonal or supply gaps. Growth is also tied to improved trade tracking: since 2013, dozens of new HS codes have been added to identify organic products separately. For example, before 2022, organic cucumbers were lumped into general import dataânow theyâre tracked on their own.
