Over the last twelve months, 16 different #regions shipped #strawberries to the #UnitedStates #market. This includes the #fruit produced domestically, in nearby countries such as #Mexico, to distant regions such as #SouthKorea, the #Netherlands, #France and #Spain. Despite the diversity of shipping locations, only 4 large regions (Mexico, California South, California Central & Florida) #supply 99% of the total #volume for the United States. The rest of the regions supply specialty varieties and their volumes are relatively small due to the large size of the market.
