Precipitation Impacts 80-90% Mango Flowering.

Agtools Inc.

During the flowering stage, unexpected rain at unusual times, followed by heavy dew conditions, causes a significant increase in the presence of sooty mold and powdery mildew. This translates into a decrease in fruit formation, an increase in fruit drop, and a loss in mango production reaching 80-90% levels.
