In Peru, the strong mango season runs between January and May. However, in the 2023 and 2024 season, there has been a decrease in the volume of exports to the United States, with a reduction of more than 73% (Graph 2). This drop in exported volume is due to various climatic factors that have affected the availability of the fruit. Like the coastal child phenomenon that impacted in mid-2023.
