The Latin American Territory (LATAM) - encompassing Mexico, Argentina, and the Caribbean - is a critical region for the planet's well-being. With its unique combination of geography, climate, and cultural diversity, LATAM presents both opportunities and challenges for sustainable development. The region's agri-food sector is a vital component of its economy, yet it also faces significant challenges in terms of environmental degradation, water scarcity, and market volatility. It's essential to acknowledge that the agri-food industry of LATAM is a long-term process, requiring 7-15 years of investments to yield returns. Every stakeholder must encourage patience as we navigate this critical period. The stakes are high: the region produces more food than its local population consumes (oversupply), contributing 17.2% of global Agri-food exports (IICA/Trade Monitor).

Despite these challenges, LATAM has tremendous potential for growth and development. By adopting sustainable practices, investing in economic resilience, and prioritizing climate action, we can create a more secure future for our industry and beyond.
