A third of U.S. lemons went to processing in 2022/23 reaching the highest #volume since the 2009/10 season.
U.S. #growers produced 1.12 million tons of lemons in 2022/23, an increase of 5.5% from previous season and represented 78% of all lemons consumed domestically in this season. #California lemon production experienced rising acreage and yields this season with #lemon growers in that State producing 1.06 million tons in 2022/23—marking a 50-year record.
