Women and Worldwide Food Production

Since women produce approximately 60-70% of the food in most developing countries and are responsible for almost 50% of all global food production, why not encouraging women entrepreneurs to develop tech-based solutions; involving women in the design stage; using sex-disaggregated data for customer segmentation. The technologies more gender-sensitive and enable women entrepreneurs to contribute to the development of more gender-balanced tech solutions are imperative. ICTforAg thinks so!
